Epson Finishes Manufacturing facility in Lipa, Philippinesby on 12-11-2011 07:42PM in Industry News
Epson Precision (Philippines) Inc., a producing subsidiary of Seiko Epson Corporation, held the ceremony at Dec . 8 in order to celebrate the opening of the new manufacturing facility ("Factory 2") in the city of Lipa, in Batangas province. The new manufacturing facility will significantly improve Epson's 3LCD projector as well as inkjet printer production capacity. Along with local suppliers, Epson President Minoru Usui and Md Tadaaki Hagata, the ceremony was attended by dignitaries from the federal government of the Philippines, such as President Benigno S. Aquino Iii and Lilia de Lima, Director-General of PEZA. Also participating in was the japanese council to the Philippines, Toshinao Urabe.
